“GTWYGT” is our Teen support group for high school students grieving the loss of a parent, sibling or close friend. This peer-centered group is focused on personal development with an emphasis on creating triumph from your challenges. Each season, the group completes a project that encourages expression and has a give-back component to it. We believe that by being of service to others, we can assign purpose to our loss and keep our minds and hearts in a healthy place. By staying focused on our future goals and not letting our grief derail us, we are honoring our loved ones and making them proud.
- Spring Session: Community Garden / planting butterfly gardens
- Summer Session: Monarch Butterfly Conservation / Annual Release
- Fall Session: Service to Others (group to decide which causes to support)
- Winter: Expression through the Arts
